Big Eyed Phish

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Lasell chapter.

This past Friday, Big Eyed Phish played Lasell for the first time. A Dave Matthews cover band from Rochester, NY, this rock band rocked Lasell. For the Dave Matthews fans at this concert, it was like seeing a favorite artist for free. They sounded so similar to the famous rock band. For the other audience members who may have not heard of Dave Matthews, it was seeing a band who knew how to play and wanted to get the crowd going.

The band played famous Dave Matthews songs like Ants Marching, Two Step, and Crash into Me. Although, the weather was cold, the band still had a great sense of energy and played on. At the beginning of the concert, the crowd bundled up in blankets and admired the music on the ground. However, once Big Eyed Phish played Crash into Me, the whole crowd stood up and started to dance. Big Eyed Phish played a great set and left the crowd more than satisfied with the night.
