Spring Break Travel Friendly Snacks

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at La Verne chapter.

Snacks for the road are a MUST for the road – they help pass the travel time! (also you won’t need to ask “are we there yet?” with your mouth full of goodies)

These snacks can be taken anywhere to travel as they don’t require refrigeration and take a while to indulge!

1. Treasure Box (Idea from Popsugar) — Fill a multicompartment container with different bite-size snacks such as raisins, nuts, etc! Has to be dried and it can be put anywhere you’d like! You’ll be munching and crunching away.

2. Cool Shaped Sandwhich Bites — Get a cookie cutter of your favorite shape (animal shapes are cool) and make a sandwhich of your liking and cut out shapes! Everything is greater in shapes.

3. Applies and Peanut Butter – Got a sweet tooth? Combine apple slices with peanut butter and marshmellows.

4. Peel Peel Peels! – Peels mean any fruit that you have to peel. Oranges, bananas, etc. Any fruit that has skin over it, will last longer! (like a potato chip bag helps keep chips fresh) (stay away from potato chips though!)

5.  DIY Lunchables – that is right! You don’t need to spend $4 on lunchables. You can make your own! Simple ingredients: ham, cheese, and crackers.

Tip: Use cupcake cups or molds to hold them!

Hoping everyone enjoys their spring break and happy road-tripping!
