Students at the University should expect some big changes come Monday, Oct. 5 — Lot D will no longer exist, as it will be the site of a 4-story parking structure, slated to be completed by August 2016.
During construction, commuter students will have the option to park in two off-campus parking lots: Shuttle Lot S along Arrow Highway and A Street, and the Fairplex Lot at Gate 17.
In an email from Lisa Grater, Transportation and Parking Manager, here’s what the new Fairplex lot will provide:
- 600 parking spaces
- Security on site
- Well lit
- Canopies
- Four 20 passenger shuttles
- One 47 passenger bus
