The University of Kansas is known for some of the most unique traditions and events of all colleges in the country. When I decided to come to KU, one of the main deciding factors were those same events that everyone talks about. KU is simply one of those universities that requires a bucket list with all of the wonderful traditions on it to ensure that nothing will be forgotten before graduation.
- Get on top of Lippencott Hall.
- Go to lottery for basketball at 5 a.m.
- Be front row at a basketball game.
- Go to Late Night at the Phog
- Participate in The Big Event
- Join a new club that you genuinely enjoy being in
- Take a class that interests you but is not in your field of study
- Get the internship of your dreams
- Try the sweet potato fries and marshmallow sauce at The Burger Stand
- Be involved in Rock Chalk Revue or another performance
- Go to a Her Campus KU event
- Study abroad
- Walk through the Campanile, but not until graduation
- Graduate and feel confident that you got both the best education possible and had the best experiences
