Disney Friend Types – Princess Edition

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at KU chapter.

Ever wonder what it would be like to be friends with a princess? Well, wait no longer! Check out the strong attributes that these Disney princesses could add to your friend group and realize how truly amazing it would be to have a princess as a friend (besides, of course, their castle home and royal status).

Ariel – beach buddy: that friend who is perfect with a day at the beach, or pool, and who is happy working on her tan or splashing around in the water.

Sleeping Beauty/Aurora – Karaoke partner: Aurora has got your back on karaoke night and no matter the song she will make your duet sound phenomenal.

Cinderella –clean your place: everyone has (or admittedly is) that roommate who never does their fair share of cleaning but with Cinderella you’re likely to never have to clean your toilet again!

Tiana – cook: Tiana’s goal in life is to own her own restaurant! Best friend reason #1: no more ramen noodles or dorm food and #2 taste-tester for all her amazing new dishes!

Belle – study buddy: stressed out from midterms, an upcoming test, or homework in general? Belle would be a great friend who would do anything she can to help you get that A!

Jasmine – support: Jasmine is always there for the ones she cares about and would be perfect for an awkward first date or any date and brings the party wherever she’s at; definitely a good friend for social gatherings.

Rapunzel – hair stylist: if your hair is simply NOT COOPERATING with you no one will understand better than Rapunzel and she will get you the perfect look for your day.

Snow White – matchmaker: hello, she lives with seven guys! Not only does Snow White have some reserves when considering men, but she’s excellent at judging character and will likely set you up with your “prince”.

As a Disney, dog, and superhero enthusiast I live for the outdoors (particularly my homeland foothills) and the unreal where adventures and the ridiculous are quite obtainable and/or practical.
