Relay For Life!By April 13, 2013 (All day) On Saturday, April 13, members of the Kenyon community will gather in the KAC for Relay for Life, an event that will culminate months of fundraising for the American Cancer Society. For committee co-chairs Jen Vihon and Keira Busching, who have dedicated the past year to planning Relay, the hard work is paying off. “Our goal is $50,000,” Vihon said. “As a result of our aggression and the work of our committee, we are fundraising at a rate that has surprised even the people we work with at the American Cancer Society.” “Just yesterday, we raised over $1,000 in a single day,” Busching said. “That’s what happens when you mobilize a group of really motivated people and people who are kind of insane for Relay.” READ MORE... |
