The Class of 2017 Does Halloween

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Kenyon chapter.

The first year’s Matriculation Day and Halloween were both on the same day this year, so it seemed only right for HCK to give the Kenyon Class of 2017 some recognition by highlighting their costumes from this past Halloweekend! Below are some of the best Halloween costumes I saw this past weekend:

Rachel Gorlin as one half of Vampire Weekend:

Joia Felton and Max Pierce as the Ninth Doctor and his companion Rose from Doctor Who:

Morgan Harden and Inês Forjaz de Lacerda, both as Regina George:

Cora Markowitz and Sam Leder as Freudian Slips:

Evie Kennedy as Miley Cyrus and her wrecking ball:

The Class of 2017 showed they knew how to get festive and creative for Halloween. We can’t wait to see what they may have in store for Shock Your Mom next semester…

Ally Bruschi is a senior political science major at Kenyon College. She spent this past summer interning as a writer with both The Daily Meal, a digital media group  dedicated to "all things food and drink" and The Borgen Project, a non-profit organization that partners with U.S. policymakers to alleviate global poverty. Before entering the "real world" of jobs, however, Ally spent many summers as a counselor at an all-girls summer camp in Vermont, aka the most wonderful place on earth. A good book, a jar of peanut butter, a well-crafted Spotify playlist, and a lazy dog could get her through even the worst of days.
