Major- Finance

Frat name- Nu Sigma Phi

Her campus rep-How long he has been a part of the frat?

Zach- “I’ve been in Nu Sigma Phi for 2 years”.

Her campus rep-Why did you chose to join this Nu Sigma Phi?

Zach- “ I chose to join phi because some of the things that stood out to me about them was that Phi had the highest GPA amongst the fraternities, they excelled in community service and fundraising,  Phi is the most diverse on campus, it has almost 19 different ethnicities and almost 10 different religions just with the actives today.”

Her campus rep-Why did you become president?

Zach- “I chose to be president because I like being able to try to bring people and groups to new places through the way I lead.”

Her campus rep-What are the responsibilities?

Zach- “My responsibilities are to oversee everything that goes on. Between helping the treasury to helping our committees out like our formal committee which we just booked.”

Her campus rep-Is there anything makes your frat unique?

Zach-“ Our uniqueness would be our diversity and we originated because our founding fathers were different and at the time didn’t fit the stereotypical fraternity, so they started one and now the reason they started the fraternity is now the reason we thrive, diversity.”

Her campus rep-Have you and your frat planned anything interesting for this semester?

Zach-“ We will have donation boxes that are going towards Caela Stewarts (from Theata Phi Alpha) mother who was just diagnosed with breast cancer again. We are also planning a 3 vs. 3 basketball tournament in hardwood for some time in April. The tournament will be $5.00 a person, and you can have teams up to 5 people.  1 point increments, first to 11 straight wins or whoever has more points by the end of the 10 minutes wins, single elimination. That will be a big fundraiser and a good time.”

Her campus rep- And what is the best and worst part of being president?

Zach-“Best and worst parts have to be that it’s hard to try to tell and lead high testosterone 20 year olds sometimes but that also ties into the best part. When we all work together to get things done, we can’t be stopped!”
