Ever wonder what students around campus are doing to help better their future? Recently, a group of four talented young ladies have started a business of their own called, Four Play. Four Play is where four young ladies express their talents with hair, makeup and beauty, with the motto of “Come let us enhance your beauty.” The members consist of sophomores Ashley Fields, Taylor Johnson, Dejanee Green and myself, Anijah Knighton.
The concept of FourPlay came about when one day all members including myself, decided that it’ll be a great idea to start doing hair and makeup around campus for ladies that are going to events and parties. At first Four Play’s goal was to be able to do hair and build our clientele around campus. After officially starting Four Play, our goal is to open up our own hair and spa business in the near future. “I never thought we would come up with this idea, but my expectations are to expand first on college campuses and then to be a global hair business that enhances women beauty and empower woman to fee incredible” stated stylist, Ashley Fields.
When people hear the name Four Play we want them to know there are four ladies working hard to make sure each client is satisfied. We also want them to know that no matter what there will always be a place where they can come relax and feel beautiful. “Every girl wants to feel beautiful, whether it’s from make up or hair, everyone wants to feel special, and that’s what we’re here to do, make sure every girl feel special in their own way.”
As of today Four Play has over 25 loyal, continuous and satisfied clients. We’ve managed to spread our name to other campuses including Montclair State University and Seton Hall University. “I’m excited to see what the future has in store for us” stated stylist Taylor Johnson. In the meantime Four Play is continuing to grow and will be a force to be reckoned with in the near future.
