Tell me a funny story about you?
One time, I was in the bathroom in my dorm washing my hands. First off, the story needs some background. My friend Savannah and I are notorious for sending each other jumping bathroom selfies. It all began when she took an amazing selfie like 5 feet in the air inside our high school bathroom. Ever since then, whenever possible I send her glorious selfies of me mid-air while taking a mirror picture. So naturally, of course, each picture requires a couple tries, because nobody is perfect. So I’m in the bathroom, just jumping up and down trying to get the perfect mid-air shot until I realize I’m not alone. I had been in the bathroom for all of 5 ish minutes just jumping up and down, while someone was clearly listening to me huff and puff while trying to take this picture. After I realized someone was in the stall, I darted out of there as fast as I could. So now, to this day, I always check if I’m alone in a public bathroom before I start taking intensive mirror pictures.

Fondest memory at JMU?
Definitely FROG week! I just have so many fond memories of bonding with my hall, and all eating together. We all were like a family, and it was something I truly wish I cherished more.
Why did you join Her Campus / what’s your favorite thing about it?
I joined Her Campus, because I wanted the opportunity to meet new people throughout a club on campus, and be involved in something I was passionate about. I love the idea of women on college campuses coming together to create change and make a difference.
Last but not least, it’s 1 am you just got back from a night going out and you are starving what do you order?
COOKOUT! Honestly anything from Cookout, and I’m down. Nuggets, hot dog, milkshake, fries. All of the above. Cookout will forever be the 1 am moves.
