Whether it is Gap’s new clothing line or Urban Outfitters’ eclectic collection, bright colored denim is huge for spring! Born out of the huge color-blocking trend that swept the Spring 2012 fashion runways, bright colored bottoms are everywhere and in demand.
 
Most recently, designers have started to re-interpret this brave trend and use their own creative liberty to expand such denim styles to incorporate wild prints and fabric impressions.
 
This is the year to fully take advantage of color. It has been a while since the fashion industry has taken to incorporating the rainbow into just about every marketable item. Dress up or dress down; dress to match your mood; dress to be different; dress to feel great this spring.

I don’t know about you, but when I work out I need some good tunes to keep me motivated mid-run or mid-crunch! The worst thing to happen is to be jamming out while running and all of a sudden the next song comes on and it’s Come Away With Me by Norah Jones. As much as I love Norah's soft voice, she only works for me when I am ready to take a nap. Even if you don’t work out a lot, a work-out playlist may give you the motivation you need to work out (or just jam out).

Beginning as a gospel singer in her Newark, NJ church, Houston empowered her fellow Baptist audience with her strong and compelling voice. She was the daughter of famous gospel singer Cissy Houston, cousin of DeeDee and Dionne Warrick and goddaughter of the “Queen of Soul,” Aretha Franklin.
