8 Cute and Crawly Halloween Nail Ideas

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at JMU chapter.

You skim through countless articles, online sites, and stores searching for the hottest Halloween costume idea that nobody else has. Some of you are even crafting a costume or two for Halloween celebrations. So I ask you: why leave your nails out of your costume? We must savor the holiday for all it’s worth, because one day it’s Halloween and the next day all the adorable Halloween-themed desserts, decorations and ABC family movies are gone. I have scoured Pinterest and blogs to bring you the best Halloween nail ideas!

1. Need a super easy design? Use a Halloween color as a base (purple, green, black, or orange) and use glitter polish and nail pens to decorate! You can draw cobwebs, pumpkin faces, ghosts, witch hats, moons or black cats.

2. Halloween character nails are adorable! All you need is green and black nail polish and white and black nail pens. These little guys will definitely draw the attention of your classmates and friends. You’ll forever be known as the collegiette with the amazing nail skills.  Check out these silly eyes and Frankensteins!

3. If you aren’t feeling the cutesy Halloween vibe, try these spooky gradient manicures. You may be the type to skip all the pumpkins and ghosts and go for a nail design that is more Halloween chic than Halloween freak. This striped nail design is candy corn’s dark counterpart – perfect for All Hallow’s Eve.

4. The black sparkle polish used for this manicure is the perfect way to make a creepy holiday glam. The design on the ring finger makes this manicure perfect for Halloween.

5. Go for a spooky French manicure like this one!
