I Love Chipotle (and our Her Campus Survival Kit)

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at JHU chapter.

Confession: I can eat an entire Chipotle bowl in one sitting. With guac. And a side of chips. And an additional side of gauc. Once a week. I’m a 5’1” track athlete who like a nice burrito bowl post practice. I’m not proud.

But actually though, Chipotle is probably my favorite food. There is literally nothing wrong with it. It is as if the Heavens sent down the ingredients from their celestial farms in the sky. Waiting in line, I feel like Dante traveling through the levels of hell and purgatory, desperately waiting to enter the gates of Heaven (nerdy Hopkins literature joke). Once I finally get my bowl, perfectly crafted by the small team of angels who know my order by heart, there is no time to be polite and wait for my friends. Each forkful of the dynamic combo awakens my taste buds. It’s as if every week, my mouth is reborn and I discover all that is good in the word. Don’t even get me started talking about guac, I’ll get too emotional.

So, when Her Campus nationals sends us our “survival kit,” which is basically a gift box full of the best stuff ever, I am like a kid on Christmas. Because I know, waiting inside, is a fat stack of Chipotle BOGO (Buy One Get One FREE) cards. As a Her Campus partner, Chipotle always hooks us up with literally the gift that keeps on giving and keeps me happy and full; namely, their food. My staff covets the cards, and handing the Bogo’s out to them makes me feel like Santa, because I am making their dreams come true.

I am going to guess that a few of our readers out there love Chipotle, too. And we love our readers. So, we wanted to give some of these blocks of gold  Bogo’s to you! Inbox our Facebook Page, Her Campus Johns Hopkins, with article pitches that YOU want to read during finals week. We will pick one pitch and write the article! The winner will (obviously) receive a Bogo, and some of the other awesome products that we received from our partners this month, including a poncho from boohoo.com, boohoo.com coupons and the financial guide “Rich Bitch” by Nicole Lapin. Thank you guys for reading all semester and keep a look out for articles to brighten your spirits during finals week (Chiptole will obviously do this, too)!
