How to Survive the Polar Vortex

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at JHU chapter.
  • Do not leave human regulated temperature. Under no circumstances should you step foot outside of a building
  • If you really must leave, wear puffy coats. The puffier the better. Get lost in the feathers
  • Wear 50 layers. Become a marshmallow of a person
  • Winter accessories like hats, scarves, gloves. Wear gloves on top of gloves and practically strangle yourself with the sheer number of scarves around your neck
  • Complain about the cold to everyone. No exceptions. Moving your jaw will generate heat
  • Move to Florida. ‘Nuff said
