6. The best thing about Hopkins is the people! Being surrounded by a group of such talented, intelligent, and fun-loving individuals is the greatest feeling in the world.
7. Something I’m especially proud of is being one of only six students from Hopkins to be in the Peabody Singers- the elite choir group at Peabody. Also, I studied for six weeks this past summer in Florence, Italy with a renowned Italian opera singer. She was definitely a tough teacher, but I’m really proud of the accomplishments and progress I made in singing while I was there.
8. Something most people don’t know about me is I’m an Independent Coach for Team Beachbody! As an independent coach, I have the privilege of helping people and inspiring people to live healthier lives. Once school starts, every month I am going to lead a Fitness or Shakeology challenge with a small group of 3-5 people. The Fitness Challenges can be as simple as a squat or plank 30 day challenge, or as difficult as doing T25 together for 30 days. Overall, they’re a great way to bring people together as well as provide a support system for one another while trying to get in shape. Find me on Facebook if you’re interested!
9. This year, I hope to do more theatre on campus! I plan on auditioning for the JHU Theatre’s fall play as well as audition for the Barnstormer’s musical in the spring.
10. In five years, I will be living in Florence studying to get an MFA in Opera. J
11. Next up for me is getting ready to start my Challenge Groups for Beachbody and starting another great year at the Hop
