Looking to make plans Valentine’s Day weekend? Get all your friends together and come out to the KCAC to show your IUP school spirit at the men’s basketball game on Saturday, February 15th. What makes this particular game so special? It’s the very first Silent Night game at IUP.
What is a silent night you ask? Watch this clip from Taylor University’s own silent night to get a better idea of what it entails:
So, basically think: crazy, ridiculous costumes, funny posters. Everyone sits in total silence until IUP records their 10th point of the game and then it becomes total and utter chaos. When the tenth point is scored all students jump from their seats and start screaming.
No IUP chants, no singing of songs, just chaotic noise and screams for a good 2-3 minutes. The rest of the game should match that intensity.
