Harry Potter fans, rejoice! The wizarding world of Harry Potter is returning to theaters November 2016 in the ultra-mysterious prequel film Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them. J.K. Rowling’s prequel story to Harry Potter will follow the main character, Newt Scamander (played by Eddie Redmayne), while he tracks all kinds of magical beings. However, there are rumors that J.K. Rowling rewrote the story into a new screenplay, and the film’s plot is a huge secret. But what we do know is the story takes place in 1926, where the young Newt travels to New York. He discovers the American wizarding community where they are all fearfully hiding from Muggles and avoiding the threat of public exposure.
It’s what happened afterwards that is supposedly a huge shocker. In the meantime, curl up with all seven of your Harry Potter books or grab popcorn to watch the movies, and get excited for next November!
