With graduation a little more than a month away, us seniors are racing to get to the finish line, and begin the next chapter of our lives. Campus Celebrity: Ashley Bronakowski

  Ever since her childhood, Ashley Bronakowski has loved to teach.  “I was around education my entire life,” she says, referring to her parents who work within the field.  “I have always loved reading and writing.  And as I began to take education classes, I realized that I had been teaching my whole life.”  Ashley played school instead of house as a little girl and taught piano once she was older- teaching comes naturally to her.    READ MORE

She aspires to being part of a management department within the entertainment field such as the BET Network. The Crimson Hawk, in recent weeks, has been busy leading the campus in riotous support of our various sports teams, and doing a stellar job at it. Campus Celebrity: Ian Grant

This week’s Campus Celebrity is Ian Grant. The Junior Philosophy/Pre-law major and Economics minor, who originally hails from Hopewell Junction, NY, is a common sight to see around IUP. Currently, the aspiring lawyer is the President of the Black Law Student Association (BLSA), which emphasizes the encouragement of black students to enter the legal field by providing internship opportunities and LSAT preparation. While it seems as though Grant has enough on his plate academically, he is also the President of the Lambdu Mu chapter of Phi Beta Sigma, a social fraternity. READ MORE
