6 Reasons College Students Need Baymax

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at IUP chapter.

I am a huge Disney fan and could watch animated movies all day- impossible on a crazy college schedule.  One of my favorite Disney movies is Big Hero 6, starring the adorable Baymax.  Besides the fact that he is huggable and reminds you of a marshmallow, Baymax is the ultimate handy machine. In the movie he is originally designed to be a health care companion, but as the movie continues Baymax proves he can be used in a number of ways. This is perfect for young people, who are struggling to make sense of adulthood.

So, here are 6 reasons college students need Baymax.

1. He is always there for a hug or laugh.

2. He will keep you safe in dangerous situations. (Those slow walkers and sidewalks can cause trouble!)

3. He can monitor your health, because who has time for that when you are taking 5 classes. Say “goodbye” to the Health Center and “hello” to Baymax!

4. If your heat happens to be turned off, he can be your backup generator.

5. Can help you with that chemistry homework you are still scratching your head over.

And last, but not least.

6. He always has lollipops on hand when you need them.

For now Baymax is only real in the Disney world. Apparently, a professor is trying to make a real one and hopefully we are around to see that. In lieu of Baymax, treat yourself to a relaxing movie night and check out Big Hero 6!
