By Elsa Remak
November 12, 2012 - 11:52am

As Hoosier ladies we have a need to impress, and we’re pretty damn good at it. We take pulls of Karkov at 7 a.m. during tailgate (our livers will thank us later). We dress like we’re hitting the Vegas strip on a 20 degree January night. We can recite the words to “This is Indiana” in our sleep. We are able to hold back our roomie’s hair while simultaneously chugging an AMF.   Basically we are women of many talents.   READ MORE

Bloomington is a food city. Point blank. By Allison Berry
October 26, 2012 - 2:35am

If you consider yourself a Hoosier and haven't heard of Indiana University Dance Marathon, you may want to take a serious look at where you've been spending a majority of your time. Sure, every student loves their Wednesday nights at the Blue Bird for $.15 beers, but the real heroes of the night are the students you'll see when you walk out the door, holding little red buckets and asking you to donate your spare change to the nation's second largest student run philanthropy.

If you are looking to get spooked right here in Bloomington, look no further! The Barn of Terror is a local “haunted barn” located right outside campus ready to scare even the most fearless since 2008.

After winding around several dark corners, those who are brave enough to face the Barn of Terror are greeted by several masked characters. As soon as you walk inside, classic and not so traditional images of Halloween are plastered all over the walls. And in case you need some fuel before your scaring, there is a snack bar with many different kinds of food and drinks for sale! READ MORE
