	Ithaca College Cheerleading Showcase By Lauren Mazzo April 4, 2013 - 9:30pm Did you know that IC has a competitive cheerleading team? They don’t only entertain you and encourage the Bombers on the football field and basketball court, they compete as well. This weekend the team is headed to Ocean City, MD to compete in a national competition called Reach The Beach. Want to see what competitive cheer is all about? Join them Thursday night in the Hill Center Gymnastics Room for their pre-competition showcase. Come watch an action-packed 2 minutes and 30 seconds of high-flying skills and support Ithaca’s most spirited team! It's 90s themed, so you can bet your bottom dollar that it's going to be one awesome night! We'll have games, performances, musical guests and even your favorite 90s TV shows playing all night long! Cancer never sleeps, so for this one night, neither should we. Help us celebrate those who have beat cancer, remember those who have lost the battle and fight back for those who are still fighting. 	First Book-Ithaca College Yogurtland Fundraiser By Lauren Mazzo February 8, 2013 (All day) Come join one of Ithaca's newest clubs all day at Yogurtland on Friday, February 8th! IC First Book is the Ithaca College chapter of a national organization called First Book (a non-profit that's donated over 100 million books to children that can't afford them). IC First Book combats illiteracy in the Ithaca and Tompkins county area by addressing the most prominent barrier against literacy for low-income areas: the cost of books. Come get yourself a big cup of fro-yo, show your flyer (either printed or electronic) at the checkout, and 15% of your proceeds will be donated to helping educate the youth of Ithaca via IC First Book!
