1. People Don’t Believe We’re Twins

My sister, Gabbi, and I are fraternal twins and we look nothing alike. When we meet people, they usually don’t believe us at first when we tell them that we’re twins. Not all twins are identical. In fact, fraternal twins are way more common than identical twins.

2.  We Have Completely Different Personalities

Once people find out we’re twins, they’re surprised that we’re nothing alike. She’s more extroverted, I’m more introverted, and we have different interests and hobbies. It’s almost as if we’re different people…

3. We Share Everything

Birthdays, toys, high school classes, homework…

4.  …Including Friends

Since we were in the same year all throughout school, we shared all of our friends. That started to change as we got older, but we still do share some friends and hangout together.

5. We Don’t Always Get Along

When we were younger we didn’t get along very well and we still do fight from time to time, but we’ve gotten a lot closer as we’ve gotten older.

6. We Will Always Stick Together

We can complain about each other, but no one else can. If one of us has a problem with someone, the other is obligated to stop liking that person.
