As Gossip Girl always says, “you know you love me,” but in this case we don’t love her – we love Blair Waldorf. Blair ruled the Upper East Side of New York on the series Gossip Girl for 6 drama filled seasons.
With the new year beginning, we all have a plethora of aspirations that we’re crossing our fingers we will actually follow through with. The aspirations could be to go to the gym everyday, to stop procrastinating on literally everything, or to even stop spending $6 on coffee (we’re all guilty). When I think about how I’d like to take on 2017 my mind wanders to Queen B for more reasons than one and here they are:
She knows her worth.
Her determination cannot be stopped.
She never gives up on those she loves.
But she doesn’t need others to make herself feel complete.
She understands that sometimes you just have to go with the flow (we’ll have to make a special note about that one…).
She’s all about women empowerment (happy tears).
While B has a wardrobe and a long list of traits that we greatly admire, these are just a few of my favorites that I hope we can all carry with us into the new year!
