Reggie Lynch: I’m a starting player for the basketball team at Illinois State.
HC ISU: If you aren’t playing basketball, what are you doing in your free time?
RL: Listening to music, meeting people, tweeting from @Air_regiinald, and playing Xbox.
HC ISU: How would your teammates describe you?
RL: “The goofiest kid they’ve ever met” and “The most unlikely person to be good at basketball they’ve ever met.”
HC ISU: Tell us a fun fact about you!
RL: I can bark like a dog… so well that people actually think it’s a real dog.
HC ISU: What is your favorite thing about Illinois State?
RL: D.P. Dough and Willow Street
HC ISU: What would you like to do after college?
RL: NBA Player, then a real estate agent and a business owner.
HC ISU: Where do you see yourself in 10 years?
RL: Back in Minnesota or out in Los Angeles living a Wolf of Wall Street life with 5 kids and my babe of a wife.
HC ISU: If you could have a last meal, what would it be?
RL: A quesorita from Taco Bell of a Reggie Calzone from D.P. Dough.
HC ISU: Who is your role model?
RL: Kobe Bryant, the Wolf of Wall Street, or Tiger Woods.
HC ISU: What’s your biggest accomplishment or something you feel proud of?
RL: I set records in Minnesota and Illinois for shot blocking, winning best hair, and being Homecoming King my senior year of high school.
HC ISU: What’s your dream place to travel?
RL: The city of Dubai in the United Arab Emirates and the Bahamas.
HC ISU: What’s something you can’t live without?
RL: My Afro Pic, without it I wouldn’t let anyone look at me because my hair looks so bad when it’s not combed out.
HC ISU: What’s the best piece of advice you’ve ever received or a motto you live by?
RL: “Take care of your life’s problems by becoming rich”, “Talent means nothing if you don’t have skill” and “friends are family”.
HC ISU: What is your relationship status?
RL: Currently single.
HC ISU: What’s the first thing you notice about a girl?
RL: Her eyes.
HC ISU: What’s the cutest thing you’ve done for a girl?
RL: Played her in mini golf and let her win so I could give her a congratulatory kiss. I also played a girl in one on one in basketball and did the same thing again (laughs).
HC ISU: What is your favorite and least favorite thing in girls’ fashion?
RL: My favorite is the yoga pants or the white shorts and belly button ring combo. Least favorite would be when girls wear guys hoodies or t-shirts unless they’re mine and we’re together.
HC ISU: What do you look for in a girl?
RL: A beautiful cutie with amazing eyes, either blonde or brunette hair. And she needs to be someone that would play hard. But I do need her to be comfortable with me and go on goofy dates.
HC ISU: Celebrity crush?
RL: Kate Upton is my number one, Miranda Kerr is my number two.
