This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Illinois State chapter.

Looking for an easy and super cheap way to spruce up your room? Look no farther because HerCampus ISU has the perfect solution for you! Writer Christine Guidici took her crafting skills to a whole new level and put together an easy, five step way to make your own toliet paper roll art piece.

All you need:

  • toilet paper or paper towel rolls
  • scissors
  • glue
  • stapler
  • paint

Step 1:

Crush the toilet paper / paper towel roll

Step 2:

Cut into about 5 equal parts (doesn’t have to be exact)

Step 3:

Paint each piece and decorate as you wish. You can add glitter or colors or anything you want.

Step 4:

Glue pieces together in the design of your choice. You may have to hold them in place for a few seconds while the glue sets.

Step 5:

Hang up your fabulous work of art for everyone to see!
