It came, it went. Yet after all of the blood, sweat, and tears, you are not in a sorority. I am here to tell you, that your life will be okay. I assure you, your life is not over just because you are not wearing a new sparkly bro tank and you are not going to be someone’s “little”. So, just because you may not have gotten into one of the ten sororities here at ISU, there are over 300 organizations to join and I am here to tell you how!

2. What are your interests? There has to be something on the list you like!
3. Do you like sports? Join an intramural team!
4. What’s your major? There is a club for every major?
Okay, so there is still not a single thing on that list that you are interested in. I guess the only thing to do is create a club of your own! That’s right; it is possible to create a club of your own. Get together with some of your closest friends, and create a club that works within your own interests.
So, you wanted to go Greek… Well, beyond the social sororities, there are business fraternities and service sororities that you can join! With these types of organizations, you still get the same aspect of getting to meet new people, build your resume, and have so much fun with your new friends! Business fraternities and service sororities even have a rush process. If these organizations interest you, pick up a flyer or find someone wearing their letters and start asking questions!
College is all about making changes and finding yourself. By joining one of the 300+ clubs offered at ISU, you are making the first step. Instead of being disappointed in yourself that you’re not in a social sorority, join something else and make that experience just as great!
