The Basics

Name: Scott Clough

Year: 2019

Major: Psychology and Economics

Minor: Sociology

Hometown: Baltimore, Maryland

Activities: Delta Chi, intramural basketball and squish

Interested In: Women

Relationship Status: Taken

Describe Yourself in Three Words: Caring, goofy, and outgoing

Favorite

Place to Party: The Quay

Place on Campus: The quad for sure.

Type of Food: I am super into crab because I am from Maryland. Also I’m really into buffalo wings and chipotle. My go-to is a burrito with chicken, rice and beans. My burritos gonna be fat. I also add sour cream and pico hot sauce. Little spice that’s all you need.

TV Show: It’s Always Sunny In Philadelphia. My favorite character would have to be Charlie Day.

Movie: Step brothers and The Lion King if I’m trying to peak people’s interest.

Favorite Class at HWS: My freshman seminar which was Violence In the Seat of Faith with Sarah Witten.

HC: How do you feeling about being nominated as Campus Cutie?

SC: I feel very honored, pumped and surprised. I would like to thank CoCo Clemens for nominating me. I am excited to send this to my family.

HC: What is your idea of the perfect date in Geneva, New York?

SC: I’m a pretty simple guy. I guess I would say that I would want to get a big pizza and a ton of wings. I would want to eat this at the docks on a nice day and of course be with Gabby.

HC: What is something that most people do not know about you?

SC: Well when I first came to HWS I was recruited for rowing. I think that is something that a lot of people do not know since I quit the team a while ago.

HC: Who is your role model?

SC: I would have to say Andrew Scott Lucas.

HC: If you could travel to any part of the world where would it be?

SC: I would want to go to Amsterdam for sure! Amsterdam is such a cool and diverse place. I mean that is where EDM music was founded so why wouldn’t I want to go. It seems like everyone is super nice there and the environment looks sick because of all the canals.

HC: Do you have a motto you live by?

SC: “There is the pain of discipline and the pain of regret you decided.”

HC: Where do you see yourself in 10 years?

SC: I am really hoping that I will be working in Europe for doing whatever. Not exactly sure what I want to do yet, but at the moment I am thinking that it would be cool to be working for a non-profit organization or anything really.

HC: What’s your most embarrassing moment?

SC: Definitely anytime I go to Beef & Brew with Donnie. You know why.

HC: If you hang out with anyone in the world for a day, living or dead, who would it be?

SC: Jimmy Hendrix

HC: What is something on your bucket list?

SC: I would say working out of the country I just think that would be so ideal and a great experience. Also I was in New Zealand my sophomore year in high school and that is what started this idea. I want to be able to travel and do my own thing.

HC: What do you want to be remembered for at HWS?

SC: My big smile.
