"Like the genocide of the Armenians before it, and the genocide of the Cambodians which followed it,… the lessons of the Holocaust must never be forgotten." — Ronald Reagan April 22, 1981
To commemorate the 97th anniversary of the Armenian Genocide and the turkish government's persistant denial of it's responsibility and attempts to destroy an entire race in what is known as the first genocide of the 20th century, the Armenian Students Association of Humboldt State University presents "The Armenian Genocide" a documentary that traces back the history of the genocide and evaluates why the turkish government continually refuses to acknowledge what happened on Ottoman soil and why the United States government is afraid to acknowledge the crimes against humanity.
