This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Hollins chapter.

Looking for a quick, easy recipe with less than 450 calories? How
about some Spicy Chicken Breast Stir-Fry? While you aren’t likely to find low cal stir-fry in Moody, you can try this recipe in your dorm kitchen.

Ingredients:
4 pieces of Skinless Chicken Breast
4 garlic cloves
3 slices of ginger
½ cup chopped spring onion
1 cup Shredded carrots
1 cup water

Flavoring:
¼ cup soy sauce
3 tablespoon of garlic spicy paste
2 tablespoon of black pepper

1) Heat up the pan with a medium heat then add 2 table spoon of oil onto the pan. Pan fried the garlic and ginger together until the fragrance of the garlic and ginger is released.
2) Add the chicken to the pan and pan fry them until they are half cooked.
* if you would like, you can cut the chicken breast to pieces.
3) Now add the shredded carrots and stir with the chicken.
4) Pour soy sauce and the spicy paste and stir them with the chicken.
5) To give some more spice to your dish, add the black pepper to the chicken.
6) Add ½ cup of water, cover the pan with a lid until the water evaporated.
* this process is basically a steaming process to help food cook faster.
7) if your dish is too watery, add a little of flour and stir. This will thicken the sauce!
8) When you are finished with your dish, sprinkle the spring onion onto the dish.

ENJOY!!!!!!
