Hey collegiettes and happy April! (I can’t believe I just said that either.) This semester sure is flying by so make sure to enjoy every minute. This week you can get started on applying for internships, go to a comedy show, and more! 

Are you on the hunt for your first internship? If you are, you cannot miss Hofstra True Stories: Internships. The event is this Tuesday at 8:30pm in the student center dining room. Students will tell you all about their internship experiences (good and bad), tell you what interning is really like, and share some invaluable advice. This is a must for all you collegiettes who are about to start your interning adventure.

Still looking for that perfect internship or job? The spring career fair is this Wednesday from 11:30am-2:30pm in the Mack Sports Center so polish up that resume and get ready to impress!

What better way to end your week than with a comedy show? HaHa Hofstra will be putting on a show this Friday night at 7:00pm in HofUSA. This will be the perfect way to relax and hang with friends after a long week.

Keegan Bedinger is the new Week Ahead Section Editor. She is a sophomore studying journalism and psychology. Keegan is also a staff member at WRHU and a member of She’s the First on campus. Rachel is a senior at Hofstra University where she majors in journalism with minors in fine arts photography and creative writing. The Rochester, NY native is involved in several organizations on campus including the Hofstra chapters of Ed2010 and She's the First. She is also an RA in a freshman residence hall. Rachel has interned at College Lifestyles, Cosmopolitan, The Knot Magazine, and is now interning at Us Weekly. She hopes to someday fulfill her dreams of being an editor at a magazine.
