Summer is here, and everyone wants to get away for some relaxation. Whether it’s with family or with your best friends, it’s never too late to book an amazing trip to make your summer one to remember.  Here are some beautiful “hot spots” to try traveling to!

1. Aruba: Being completely biased, Aruba is one of my favorite vacation spots.  It’s just outside the United States in the Caribbean, a little island just enough to be called “One Happy Island.” Beautiful white sand beaches give the perfect relaxation spot, as well as outdoor activities like horseback riding through the woods and on the beach.

2. Hawaii: Of course this would be on here! With five islands making up this state, you have plenty to choose from, with each island bringing something unique to the culture. Enjoy some Luaus as well as traditional Hawaiian hula.

3. Orlando, Florida: Disney World or Universal Studios, anyone? This may not be the equal of relaxing on the beach, but it definitely means a week of fun! These amusement parks have an enormous amount of rides and attractions, keeping you on your feet and distracting you from work or any other troubles that were left at home, making you feel like a kid again!

4. Cancun, Mexico: This is more than just a college spring break spot. It provides a relaxing environment with white-sand beaches and aqua-blue waters. It also has the unique addition of ancient Mayan ruins, giving this tropical paradise a historic atmosphere.

5. Atlantis, Bahamas: This resort is absolutely gorgeous and has plenty of fun things to do. One of the main attractions here is the famous slide located in the resort’s water park that not only drops you from a high level, but takes you through a tube through water that’s filled with sharks! Talk about a thrill! Other fun attractions include swimming with dolphins in Dolphin Cay, and a shark experience.

6. Cayman Islands: A very quiet place, but it’s filled with beautiful scenery and a little traditional town center with shopping! They also have swimming with dolphins, a very popular water attraction and highly recommended (by me…dolphins are adorable and friendly).

7. London, England Not a place known for its beaches or tropical weather, but it’s definitely a people pleaser when it comes to a tourist attraction. There are wonderful sites like Big Ben and the London Eye, with the famous double-decker bus tour! Make sure you get your tea tasting buds ready.

8. Venice, Italy: Explore the Italian culture all while listening to a guy singing Italian Opera while paddling down the river on a gondola. You also get to eat some gelato and pasta, who can go wrong!

9. Toronto, Canada: The city is a breathtaking vacation spot with one of the main attractions being the “CN Tower.” You are able to scale the topside of the tower to get a beautiful view of the city. Be a little daring and take this adventure!
