Tune-In Tuesday: Halloween Edition

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Hofstra chapter.

As we all know, Halloween is just around the corner! So while you’re getting on your ears and doing your makeup, why not throw on some Halloween music to get into the vibe?

So, what should be on this playlist?

Let’s start with one of the most popular Michael Jackson songs to ever be released, “Thriller.” The beginning of the song starts out with an eerie, haunted vibe, having a wolf howling in the background. The rest of the song gives you a great beat to dance to. There’s a dance that goes along with the song, so if you know it, break out your moves!

You also should add in another classic titled “Monster Mash.” This song comes from a 1967 Halloween-themed musical film, which means that there’s more dancing involved!

If you don’t really feel like learning the dance moves, there are some songs that you can just enjoy listening to! From a movie called “The Nightmare Before Christmas,” there is a song called “This is Halloween.” The movie was created by Tim Burton and is a Disney film, so you know this combination creates a perfect song.

One last song recommended for your pleasure is a more fun and friendly Halloween song. This song is also based from a movie about a mission to catch ghosts. Who are you going to call?

Ghostbusters!

I hope you all have a song to rock out to this Halloween, and have a very happy and safe holiday!
