The Stages of Taking Home Your Significant Other for Spring Break (in GIFs)

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Hofstra chapter.

Stage One: You begin freaking out…

Stage Two: …But you have to look calm for your significant other.

Stage Three: Your mom is very excited to see you and your significant other walk through the door.

Stage Four: Your dad is secretly judging your significant other’s every move.

Stage Five: You try to say something, but your mom is taking over the conversation.

Stage Six: And then your mom brings out the baby pictures.

Stage Seven: Your sibling just sits there laughing at the whole situation.

Stage Eight: You finally accept that you can’t stop the embarrassment.

Stage Nine: And after it’s all over, you realize it could have been a lot worse.
