Favorite Fashion Trend:
High-low Hem Skirts and Dresses. I first saw this trend when I attended the 2012 Fusion Fashion Show at Parsons: The New School for Design in Manhattan. I instantly fell in love with the flow of these skirts and dresses. They make me imagine myself walking along the beach under the hot sun… Ahhh, what a feeling…

Favorite TV Show: America’s Next Top Model: British Invasion. I’m sure that most girls have seen or at least heard of America’s Next Top Model. The show has just started their 18th cycle and decided to spice things up a bit by bringing in seven somewhat-experienced models from the UK and putting them up against seven aspiring models that were chosen through auditions from the US. The rivalry between the two sides adds an exciting dimension to the show that we have yet to see in the past 17 cycles. Also, Kelly Cutrone, PR extraordinaire and NY Times Best Selling Author of “If You Have to Cry, Go Outside” and “Normal Gets You Nowhere” has joined the panel of amazing judges alongside photographer Nigel Barker and the ever-so-famous Tyra Banks. Tune in to CW17 (Channel 11 on Hofstra’s Campus) on Wednesday nights at 9pm to witness hair-pulling cat fights, exquisite photo shoots, and some of the fiercest ladies in ANTM history.

Favorite Celebrity:
British Presenter and Model Alexa Chung. I have the biggest girl-crush on her right now… I think she’s unique and gorgeous in her own way!

Favorite Thing to Hate: How everyone else seems to be on Spring Break, and not us! How many of your friends have been calling you up all March asking whether or not you’re on spring break yet? Or better yet, how many of your friends have spring break in April? Luckily, I have a couple of friends who will be home for Easter, which is during the first weekend of our break, so I won’t be completely alone. Hopefully everyone else at Hofstra either has an exciting vacation planned or has a friend or two that they will get to see or visit.
