Five Ways to Add Pops of Color to Your Wardrobe This Spring

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Hofstra chapter.

Throwing on an accessory is always a good way to change up your wardrobe. But as spring rolls around, adding some color to your day is a great way to bring in the season! Here’s how to add fun pops of color to your wardrobe this season.

Colorful Jewelry

An easy way to add a pop of color to your spring wardrobe is always jewelry. If you can throw on a colorful necklace or even some small earrings you will have a brighter outfit for your spring day.

Hair Accessories

My go-to addition to any outfit is a hair accessory. Most of mine are colorful headbands that add sparkle or color to every outfit and help me start my day off on the right foot.

Colorful Scarf

This is a good option for when it is still a little windy or rainy. A scarf can give you the color you need in a plain outfit while also serving as a practical addition to your wardrobe.

Bright Lipstick

Grabbing a bright lipstick is a fun way to give your face a little pep in the morning when you are really tired and need to do a quick makeup look. Using a bright color will give you springy look as the seasons change.

Funky Eye Shadow

If you are not feeling a bright lipstick you can try a fun eyeshadow color. Just never do both at the same time because you run the risk of looking a little too colorful. (Jaclyn Hill’s Morphe Palette is a great product to have on hand to experiment with fun colors!)

Now this is only five ways to get your outfits to have a little more color. Hopefully, you can use one to give you a better start to your day!
