I CANNOT get enough of the Summer Fridays Jet Lag Mask!
If you have never seen this metal, periwinkle blue tube of pure goodness then you must read this article and find out why everyone and their mother has been using it! The face mask your favorite celebrities and beauty bloggers are raving about is one of the most coveted skincare products of 2018, selling out non-stop on Sephora.com and SummerFridays.com. The mask retails for $48. Created by Marianna Hewitt and Lauren Gores Ireland, this face mask can act as a primer and daily moisturizer. The creators specify that you do not have to be a “jetsetter” to use this product. It is meant to work well with your existing skincare routine. This mask was meant for all skin types including sensitive and acne-prone skin.
Personally, I replaced this product with my daily moisturizer because I cannot get enough of the way this product transforms my skin. You can leave this mask on your skin until it absorbs in and turns from white to clear then rub in the rest. You do not have to (and shouldn’t) rinse off this product. I like to leave on a thick layer of the Summer Fridays mask under my eyes while I get ready to do my makeup if I need an extra boost of hydration.
It smells almost like mint chocolate chip ice cream to me but nevertheless fresh and clean smell and feeling. Speaking of smell, this product has no synthetic dyes or fragrances. A few key ingredients in this product include chestnut extract, vitamin c, niacinamide, and green tea. These are all great ingredients that effect overall radiance, texture, and tone. Warning: pore size and fine line reduction may occur if used properly. There is nothing this product does not fix… skin wise that is! Not only is this multifunctional “miracle” made of natural ingredients for radiant hydration, but it is also vegan, paraben free, sulfate free, and cruelty-free.
Now, who exactly has been using this game-changing product? Kim Kardashian West, Jessica Alba, Desi Perkins, Jeffree Star, Nicole Guerriero, and Camila Cabello are only a few of the many influencers who showed some love for the brand’s first product that went VIRAL!
I was invited to the launch party for the brand/ product launch in which I was fortunate enough to get my hands on a free tube. Marianna and Lauren, you created a product the beauty community ACTUALLY needed that is truly worth the hype. The two years it took to put this product together was completely worth it as I can already see a huge difference with my skin. I cannot wait to see what else you have planned for the future!
