Skywalker Dutch is an eccentric artist/producer in the music business. He has a certain self- confidence and drive in himself that is rare and electrifying. His beats are like nothing I have heard before. Skywalker Dutch could be compared to adventurous artists such as Pharrell, Wiz Khalifa and Future, but Skywalker Dutch is not your common rapper/producer.
Today, I’m here to tell you about his newest release, “Envy”, which dropped January 19, 2018. It’s an album I play when I’m walking to class to pump me up for that ever-so-exciting lecture. His hard-hitting beats and creative lyrics make it one of the best new releases I’ve heard this year.
As college students, we are constantly bombarded with loads of “rap” music (that usually isn’t that good); however, Skywalker Dutch’s album is innovative and distinctive.
