Campus Style: Zachary Kizer

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Hofstra chapter.

Zachary Kizer

Class: 2016

Major: Public relations

Hometown: McMinnville, OR

Steal his look:

Shirt: Red Stapleford Howler Flannel

Sweater: Your Neighbors

Shoes: White High Top Converse

Jeans: Levis 511 black

Backpack: Herschel blue canvas Little America

Her Campus Hofstra: How would you describe your style?

Zachary Kizer: I would describe my style as functional, yet fashionable. I love to be comfortable, so I wear a lot of sweaters and jeans. Button down shirts are a staple of mine, they are just something that looks nice and is easy to throw on as I am running late to class.

HCH: How does New York style compare to style back home in Oregon?

ZK: NY style is way different than style in Oregon. Back home people wear Birkenstocks, Tevas, Corduroy, and Sweaters way more often. I just think it is more laid back in the Pacific NW. People just want to be comfortable and look nice. It is fun to balance NY style and Oregon comfort.

HCH: What are your favorite stores at the moment?

ZK: As far as my favorite stores go, Urban Outfitters is #1. I think it offers a wide range of clothes, from trend setting to the obscure. With that being said, Urban Outfitters is ridiculously expensive, Buffalo Exchange is a nationwide thrift store that I really like, they curate a really awesome selection of clothes.
