8 Online Study Resources That Will Save Your Life

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Hofstra chapter.

With finals week approaching so much quicker than any of us expected, those assignments that were once due months away are now right around the corner- and we’re all in a panic. To survive this finals week, here are eight online resources that’ll save your life (and your grades):

MyHomework App

I could not have survived this semester without this app. It perfectly organizes all your homework, papers, tests, and everything else that college students have to remember. It’s free in the app store, and for the color-coded aficionado, it’s a dream come true.

GoConqr Flashcards

If you love flashcards as much as every stressed-out college student does, you NEED to download this app. They also have subcategories within the app, specializing in mind maps, quizzes, and flashcards.

Dragon Dictation

For the student that learns through auditory measures, Dragon Dictation will save your life. Use it to record little associations to remember your notes and vocab, replay it and watch yourself ace those finals!

Tide: Stay Focused

Is time management the bane of your existence? You’re not alone!  Who can balance all of the work we can and still stay somewhat sane? This app saved my grades: it gives you an alarm to stay balanced throughout your studying. You can work, give yourself a break, and meditate to the varying relaxing sounds this app offers.

StudyBlue

If you want a one-way ticket to an A on that exam, download this app. You just need to put your notes and note cards all into different sections and it’ll help you review, making studying so much easier than you expected it could be.

X Mind

Mind mapping- something I never thought I needed until finals week. While it’s mainly used to balance life, it can be a great tool for studying. It’s like a large brainstorming bubble that you can get almost instantly. Mind maps are now my new best friend and they will be for you, too.

Zotero

For the fellow clutter bug, here comes the one website that’ll store everything you need. With all the piles of papers students get, how do you store them all? Use Zotero, which can store websites in your personal library, help write papers, cite, and serve as an amazing study tool.

eDX

With countless free online classes at the touch of a button- it’ll make anyone an expert in no time. Use this to enhance the knowledge you’ve already got – your understanding of the subject will advance as you take the free courses offered here.

With these eight resources, you’ll be ready to slay your final exams. Good luck, collegiettes!
