Summer is almost here. What better way to get pumped up than with a good summer movie? Here are 10 of my favorite movies to watch in the summer!

This is not only one of my favorite movies, but also the perfect summer movie. The music by ABBA is contagious, and the beautiful Greece setting is the vacation of my dreams. I swear I watch it numerous times during the summer. Be sure to watch this before the sequel comes out in July!

Lilo & Stitch is another perfect summer movie. Stitch is one of the cutest Disney characters and Lilo’s sass will have you laughing instantly. The mix of hula dancing, surfing, and aliens will have you wanting to go on a “Hawaiian Roller Coaster Ride!”

Sticking with Disney, Moana is next on this list. The lovable characters, catchy music, and gorgeous setting make this one of my favorite Disney princess movies. Get your friends together and belt your hearts out to “How Far I’ll Go!”

This is one of my favorite childhood movies. Who wouldn’t want to be friends with a mermaid? Not only is this movie memorable because of the friendships and humor, but it also gave us one of the most relatable movie quotes of all time (as pictured above)!

This is the perfect summer sleepover movie. Their story of friendship will make you laugh, cry, and appreciate your friends even more. Everyone can relate to at least one of the girls. And, this movie formed one of the best celebrity friend groups of all time!

This list wouldn’t be complete if I didn’t include this movie. I was obsessed with all the High School Musical movies growing up. Who else wanted to spend their summer at Lava Springs Country Club? Sing and dance your heart out to this childhood classic!

This movie may not be out yet, but it comes out this summer and I couldn’t be more excited. I’m a huge fan of the original, and I can’t wait to see what the sequel has in store. “Where’s my supersuit?”
