We've all done it. Customs Week is an integral part of our Haverford experience. But those jam-packed days don't just come together overnight. We have the Customs Week Co-Heads to thank for that. This year, the trio of Jay Gorchow, Ben Van Son, and Jake Weisenthal were behind all of that freshman fun. Learn more about their favorite part of their job as well as their favorite moves at the always interesting SupaFun dance were:

Why did you decide to apply to be Customs Co-Heads?
It's something I've thought about doing for a pretty long time. Customs has been such an integral part of my Haverford experience, and what better way to give back to it than to be a Customs Week Co-Head. Plus, speaking in front of 500+ people's not a bad perk.

Toughest part of being a Customs Co-Head?
Not being a freshman to enjoy our creation. You're welcome Haverford.

Best part of being a Customs Co-Head?
Working in the same building as Dean Watter. I got lost in his eyes every day...

Funniest moment of Customs week?
Definitely Jess Lord's speech. Every Opening Day, my dude returns to Marshall to kidnap the show. This year, mission accomplished.

If you could've chosen a theme song for Customs week what would it be?
Mozart's 2nd Symphony in E-flat

Name: Ben Van Son
Year: Senior
Major: Psychology
Hometown: Rochester, NY

Why did you decide to apply to be Customs Co-Heads?
I wanted to apply, because I gained great friendships through Customs. I met both Jake and Jay through Customs. Jake and I were roommates freshmen year and have been best friends ever since. Jay was the CP on the hall that Jake and I were PAFs on. Being the Customs Head provided an opportunity to give back.

Toughest part of being a Customs Co-Head?
Booking everything became pretty tedious. Putting 356 freshmen into a seminar with the faculty is not the way to spend your night...

Best part of being a Customs Co-Head?
Doing roll call was sick. Calling out Haverford before the hypnotist and having the ground shake with noise was awesome.

Funniest moment of Customs week?
Watching Gummere do the Gangnam Style Dance during Dorm Olympics. That dance is blowing up.

If you could've chosen a theme song for Customs week what would it be?
Call Me Maybe.

The Bernie.

Power arouses me.

Toughest part of being a Customs Co-Head?
I really struggled learning my lines for the customs week opening performance. I was so nervous! I ended up forgetting everything and just started dancing around. So embarrassing!

Best part of being a Customs Co-Head?
First crack at the freshman class! Pretty nice...

Funniest moment of Customs week?
This one kid told me a joke during lunch. It was so funny. I had gatorade coming out of my nose. You kinda had to be there though.
