Our Favorite Super Bowl LI Commercials

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Harvard chapter.

Here at Harvard, many of us are pretty pumped after our region’s team took home another W two days ago. We’ve had some time to process what happened this Super Bowl Sunday and have finally determined what our favorite commercials were this year. Enjoy our picks!

The Audi Ad.

We are all about women’s empowerment on Her Campus, so this ad really struck home with us!

The Buick Commercial.

The actual commercial itself had nothing to do with the car brand (does any car commercial make sense these days?), but nevertheless, it was a fun one with a surprise Miranda Kerr cameo at the end!

The Avocados From Mexico Subliminal Messaging.

This one didn’t make much sense for 75% of the clip, but it was definitely entertaining throughout the confusion.

The Tide Stain Guy Commercial.

I saw this one coming! There was no way the producers of the show would let him keep that stain on his shirt for too long without a purpose.

Super Bowl Baby Legends.

Who doesn’t love to see tiny humans running around in costume??? This was an adorable addition to the lineup, and we all know the answer to the question they posed:

Vanessa is a sophomore at Harvard studying Human Developmental and Regnerative Biology with a secondary in Global Health and Health Policy. She is originally from South Texas and is very involved with the Latinx community at Harvard as well as Harvard's Science Club for Girls. When not in a lab or working as a tour guide, Vanessa likes to spend her free time in thrift stores or playing Pokemon Go shamelessly.
