1. Take part in a winter activity
Whether it be skating, skiing, sledding, or just building a snowman, finding a winter
activity you enjoy is the perfect way to make the cold and the snow seem enjoyable.
Embrace the winter by getting outside and taking advantage of the season.
2. Invest in a pair of good quality snow boots
A good quality pair of snow boots will last years and make the trek around campus
in the snow much easier. Buy boots with treads on the bottom such as Bean Boots or
SOREL boots.
3. Bundle up
Layer your clothing with scarves, sweaters, hats, and gloves. It is too cold to have
your skin exposed for long periods of time so make sure you are fully bundled up
when walking around campus.
4. Work out
Getting exercise will warm you up right away! It’s easy to skip out on the gym when
it is freezing outside but you will feel so much better and warmer afterwards.
5. Have a movie night with friends and blankets
If it’s too cold to go outside, have a cozy night in with friends, blankets, and warm
food! Try to find ways to make the most of the winter weather but sometimes it is
warmer (and safer) to have fun indoors.
