There are many charities and organizations across the world working hard to support and aid women and girls. These specific charities focus their efforts on multiple different causes and issues which come together to benefit girls and women around the world. 1. Days For Girls International

Days for Girls works to support girls and young women throughout their entire lifecycle. They do so by providing girls with a DfG Kit, which teaches her about health education.

2. Girls On The Run

Girls On The Run inspires girls to be joyful, healthy, and confident while using a fun, experience-based curriculum, which creatively integrates running. They wish for a world where every girl knows and activates her limitless potential and is free to boldly pursue her dreams.

3. Women On Wings

Women On Wings works to create one million jobs for women in rural India. These jobs would provide an income and an escape for families in the cycle of poverty. It has been shown that women spend their income on their families, which helps their children be able to attend school and have a better future.

4. Womankind Worldwide

Womankind Worldwide provides direct support for women and girls to escape from violence to a safe place. They also work to change laws and policies, which discriminate against women and girls, and challenge the damaging attitudes at the root of inequality.

Girls Not Brides is a global partnership of more than 700 civil society organizations that are committed to ending child marriage. They also hope to enable girls to fulfil their full potential. They believe that every girl has the right to lead the life that she chooses and by ending child marriage, we can achieve a safer and healthier future for all.

Tostan International is an African-based organization that works directly with rural communities leading their own development. They empower these communities to bring about sustainable development and positive social transformation based on respect for human rights. Keep A Breast’s mission is to empower young people around the world with breast health education and support.
