Oscars 2016 Recap: The Best Dressed List

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at GSU chapter.

The Oscars (or Academy Awards) isn’t a competition, unless you’re aiming for a trophy. The red carpet is a mystical place where women understand it’s not battle of the dresses, it’s a stage that expresses all beauty, style and hard work. Say hello to the ladies that rocked the Oscars 2016 with their amazing fashion sense.

First up, Jennifer Lawrence looked absolutely dazzling in this lingerie-inspired Dior couture dress. She’s giving off major mysterious vibes but we all concur J. Law is total babe.

Cate Blanchett radiates beauty in an Armani Privé dress. It’s safe to assume she’s the epitome of grace and class. Looks like the evil stepmother found her inner Cinderella.

We can all agree Rachel McAdams looks stunning in an Atelier dress. It seems blondes are making the ultimate comeback.

Simple and chic. Let’s get some brunettes in here! I’m loving sequins, bright colors and shape forming dresses this spring.

Daisley Ridley in Chanel Haute Couture.

Olivia Munn in Stella McCartney.

Mindy Kaling in Elizabeth Kennedy.

A classic look done right by Margot Robbie in a Tom Ford dress. Everyone loves her. She can do no wrong. Don’t try to argue.

This look knocked the ball out of the park. Rooney Mara looked jaw-dropping in this intricate Givenchy Haute Couture dress.

Priyanka Chopra was born to wear this Zuhair Murad dress. The fit is perfect and tastefully transparent creating an all-around elegant look.

Chrissy Teigen glowing and looking amazing as ever in a Marchesa dress. P.S. Thank you for the meme.
