As a freshmen, you are probably scared and anxious about college. One of the biggest steps of your life, there are so many stories about what it’s all about. Everything from the good, like making life long friends, and the bad, like unrelenting professors. Remember this, freshmen year will be the best year of your life. So, soak up every minute of it. It will fly by, and suddenly you will be a sophomore, junior, or senior!

Georgia State has ties to a lot of business and research, and Atlanta houses offices for some of the biggest people and companies. This literally pushes everyone. Plus, everyone strives to be the best. There are so many organizations and opportunities for you to be surrounded by like-minded people. Finally, social-wise our school is so fun! From the school sponsored Pantherprowls to some of the celebrities that come to our campus. At our basketball games or during Homecoming, there is no shortage of excitement. We BLEED BLUE. Everyone is proud to be a Panther. This year is sure to be a memorable one. With the consolidation of Georgia State and Perimeter College and the basketball team sending its first player to the NBA, there’s sure to be even more news and developments to top these. Plus, Georgia State really is getting bigger with the building of a new dorm near the Commons and the new Law School Building that will have a 24 hour library.
