HC: Why did you choose GSU?

KD: I chose Georgia State because of the many opportunities it would give me as a young adult and I love the city of Atlanta.

HC: What has been your best experience in college so far?

KD: I recently went through sorority recruitment and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. I am now a new member of Alpha Xi Delta and I have met so many amazing women who share the same interests as me.

HC: Have you gotten involved in anything on campus besides your sorority?

KD: Unfortunately, no. I have been taking this time to get to know people and focus on school. I spend my free time volunteering at the inner city schools of Atlanta with the jumpstart program and I also work at Mellow Mushroom.

HC: What is something that most people don’t know about you?

KD: I am a writer and I worked as a DJ over the summer.

HC: Really! What genres of music do you listen to?

KD: I listen to literally all genres of music, except for bluegrass. I hate bluegrass (*laughs*).

HC: What is one motto that you live by?

KD: “She is closed with strength and dignity and laughs without fear of the future.”
