So we all know that there is a ton of stuff going on at Georgetown. But what about events outside of the bubble? Read this column every week to get the scoop on the five things going on that we think is worth getting off campus for.
1. Waka Flocka Flame and Riff Raff
Kick off Halloween weekend with Waka Flocka Flame and Riff Raff. They will be performing at the Fillmore on Thursday, October 30.
Or spend the night at the Zoo. There will be drinks, carousel rides, and after-hour access to the Reptile Discovery Center. Night of the Living Zoo will take place on Thursday, October 30.
3. The Loser’s Lounge & Halloween BOOgie Down
Learn Halloween related dance movies and listen to The Loser’s Lounge at the Kennedy Center. The event takes place on October 31. There will also be a costume contest.
4. U Hell Halloween Party with BrEaCh
Bring your best costume to this party. The winner gets free entry to U Hall for a year, which means free concerts for a year. Also, if you are going to the RL Grimes show, you can get into this party for free.
5. GraveYards
To celebrate the Day of the Dead, The Yards will be changed into a spooky playground. There will be fortunetellers, face painters, and street performers. The event takes place on November, and it’s free.
