Every fall, we reevaluate not only our closet of clothes but also our shoe collections, which never seem to be as big as we would hope. For the cold weather, we look to our shoes to be both stylish and warm, and this is why we get excited for boot shopping! If you have walked by the shoe shops on M Street recently, you’ve probably seen stores such as Aldo and Steve Madden displaying their fall must-have boots.; window shopping has never looked so good. To help you choose the right pair for you, here is a guide to fall’s must have boot styles.

1.     Booties

A shoe collection is not complete without sky high black booties. This style provides an edgy twist to any outfit, whether it’s for day or night. Celebrities including Gwen Stefani and Beyonce have been seen rocking this look.

2.     Over the Knee Boot

This most recent boot trend is a universal favorite. It has an equestrian vibe that is a perfect match with a plaid dress. The over the knee boot is also great over a pair of skinny jeans or leggings.

3.     Ankle Boots
