Cuffing season is hard and it seems like the pressure is getting to some people’s heads! From pick up lines to just straight up awkward encounters, Tinder can be a crazy place that can lead to happily ever after or at least some good laughs. Here are some examples of Tinder tragedies that I have experienced, rated from worst to OKest! Get ready to cringe and wish them the best of luck!
7. The Insensitive Joke
Coming in dead last is this one, for self-explanatory reasons. I can guarantee you a genocide joke will never help you into my pants! We can try to give it to him for bravery… maybe? No? Ok.
6. The Too Strong
Sometimes you can come off a little too strong… or downright creepy. Not pictured is a message of his address with a, “I’ll be waiting”. Less is more man, less is more.

5. The Mix Up
No one is complaining when they read your bio! It can be such a cute way to start a conversation by asking a related question; however, it gets extremely awkward when he slides in with a question that definitely has nothing to do with you! You’ve got to think to yourself, “Did they get some other girl’s bio confused with mine? Because I can barely braid my hair, much less knit a blanket?!”
4. The Noodle Scratcher
Similar to “The Mix Up” this line leaves you with more questions than wanted. It’s good to give a girl a little mystery but you should never leave here with a riddle! Genuinely.. where was he going with this? Maybe he’s projecting? I couldn’t tell you…

3. The Typo
Oh goodness do I simultaneously cringe and laugh at a good typo! However, typos can make you look sloppy and careless. But, where in the world was he even going with this in the first place? I am offended for the beautiful Queen herself, haha!
2. The Overtly Sexual
Every girl has received at least one of these gems in her lifetime. I’ve got to say sometimes they make me chuckle. And when you have a sense of humor you’re one step closer, right?
1. The Current Event
This one is a fresh spin on the pickup line! And is coming in #1 as the most OKest! Not too sexual, not too insensitive, and almost enough to make me say yes. However, you’re right dude, I am out of your league!
